Jared “J-Rod” Cooley and Chris Knecht started out on Thursday the 26th at about 4am. The drive over to Charlotte went well…smooth sailing! They got to Lowe’s Motor Speedway about 10:30am. Setup was a breeze they just pulled up to the Nextel garage door, lifted it up, and went to town setting up.

Friday, the first day open to the public, rained all day long, but that didn’t stop hot rod owners/enthusiasts! Despite the rain the show was very busy. People crowded inside the garage which gave a great opportunity to answer questions and make some sales.

On Saturday the weather was much better…still a little cloudy, but the sun was peaking through and by the end of the day it was nice and sunny. The crowd numbers were up keeping the guys busy pretty much all day.

Sunday crowd was still pretty good and the weather was beautiful. It seems like this show grows every year, and this year was no different. Everything went very smoothly and the show, as all the Good Guys events are, was a lot of fun. It’s great to be out and feel the energy and enthusiasm at these shows!
