I have one of the best jobs in the world. I “have” to travel to collector car events across the USA and actually the world. This week I am in Scottsdale/Phoenix, Arizona attending the very important and large auctions many of you see on televison. Barret Jackson is being broadcasted for 40 hours of live TV on Speed. Discovery is filming at RM Auctions event. Coker is represented very well at Barrett Jackson, RM Auctions and Russo Steele Auctions all which take place during this important week of collector car happenings here in Phoenix Arizona. Our products are on a good percentage of the cars at these auctions. It is very important to note that America loves to watch these events on TV and the networks who film and produce these shows run them all year long! This continues to put collector cars in the mind of the American viewing public.
Last night I was with Joe Amato, Reggie Jackson, Linda Vaughn, and NASCAR’s Tony Stewart at Barrett Jackson. Tony said he was interested in a 55 Chevy Nomad Custom Car. Reggie bid on it to 40k. Despite Tony indicating he thought he could justify 50k, he was up with the crowd as the car went across the block but never appeared to bid on it. Guess he has more guts to pass on the outside on the oval than he does to spend money. Just kiddin… Maybe he just decided against it. Nice guy. Was great to see a NASCAR driver really be a real car guy.
It is important for us to network here this week and we are having lots of opportunity to do just that. There are many important collectors, Industry Leaders and many of my friends here. Jess Hoodenpyle, Jerry Priesel, and Hector Moreno are quite busy and doing a great job at our display in the Barrett Jackson Auction tent.

Our sponsorship of the “photo tent” at Barrett Jackson has brought decent coverage as well as being visible to the thousands of enthusiasts present.
I had the opportunity to visit with “Miss Nellie” as I checked in yesterday at the Barrett Jackson Auction office. Miss Nellie Jackson and her son Craig Jackson own the Barrett Jackson Auction. Although she is over 80 years young, she is actively “at it” every day during the auction week. She is truly a “Treasure” to the Collector Car Hobby!
I haven’t bought anything, I see lots of cars I like but not many I can’t live without. But its still early! I sure am hearing a lot of SOLD, Sold, SOLD!!!
From the road,
Corky

Very nice to finely meet you at RM, we were thrilled with the sale of the Sprite and think your white walls showed it off in style. Thanks again for all you’ve done, hope to meet Casey next time.
